Analysis and comparison with altimeter data of Eddy Kinetic Energy, Sea Surface Height and Sea Level Anomaly maps obtained by the model over the year 2002 and validation of the assimilation system.

Determination of the relative kinetic rates of the gas phase reaction of the chlorine radical with some of the halogeno-compounds present in the atmosphere (CH2Br2, CHBr2Cl, CHBr3, 1 and 2-iodobutane). These rates will be useful for the prediction of the evolution of a system that contains one of the above compounds and any type of chlorine source, which plays an important role in the tropospheric and stratospheric ozone chemistry.
